Blueprint
When opportunity meets preparation
We are excited to announce our Blueprint program. We Are Now, Inc. a non-profit organization that is working to decrease unemployment and stimulate economic growth in Polk County. We will achieve our mission by helping young people become more prepared to enter the workforce and fill certain growing (niche) job markets. Also, by increasing the emergence and growth of small businesses we can create more employment opportunities.
This Free program includes evaluating our client's personal skill sets, training, and qualifications. Then we help them to create an Individual Career Plan (a Blueprint) for success. We match our clients with our growing list of business professionals to gain entry level work experience and to master their craft. We also help clients to create, establish and fund their own businesses.

We plan to achieve our objectives through our exciting programs, including Lights Camera Action and Benjamin "Benjo" Morgan" Prep.

Our aim is to inspire, motivate, and direct youth, because we feel that a child with direction has a map to a successful future.
How It Works

We have assembled a growing network of Business professionals to Partner with us to help create proper training and coursework to obtain certifications, licensure, and the required work experience that will directly result in job/ career placement. All of our collaborative business partners are Veteran owned. We have compiled a growing list of job opportunities in demanding markets that require specific teachable skill sets but do not require college degrees.

Our Strategy
​
We will introduce the various job/ career opportunities available then create individual education plans to align them with the opportunity. We will afford them the chance tour the sites where those job opportunities are performed so that they can see them firsthand. We will also provide the coursework available to prepare them for any licensure or certifications that is needed for their chosen career path. We will partner them with our business professionals within our network for additional training and the necessary experience needed to not only get the job but maintain and grow within that career. As a network that will position us to be able to give letters of commendations and endorsements along with interview help, resume building, etc. to basically walk them in the job.

In unification with our base program, we are creating shared space business centers to afford our students that opt to start their own businesses the opportunity to have an affordable place of business for their venture. They will have a business address and virtual business receptionist. Also, our partners will help them structure, insure, license, market, fund and grow their entity.
Other Initiatives
The Lights Camera Action program has been designed to counter truancy by helping youth focus on their higher education goals.
Through this program, the team at WE ARE NOW Inc mentors and prepares youth for the post-secondary phase of their student life.
