WAN.tv is our very own You Tube channel that we are poised to one day turn into a cable channel. This is where we will post all of our work to include interviews, clinics, community events, shows, commercials, infomercials and much more. We will host original shows such that our members and staff have produced such as:
K - SPORTS
K-SPORTS is a youth-centered sports show in which we will feature and broadcast local youth sporting events-our version of ESPN, but for kids. Our members will be trained in all areas of sports media-from writers to anchors-and they will conduct both sideline and exclusive interviews with top tier high school and little league athletes. The overall objective for this experience is to lead these individuals towards future endeavors in this exciting career field.
WAN will also host several community events such as basketball, football, and soccer tournaments, video game tournaments, “All Star Games”, and much more.
FINAL EXAM
Final Exam, in its game show format will give our students and schools the opportunity to showcase their academic prowess. Students will in all subject areas. Winning schools will receive prizes in the form of cash, books, software, computers, etc.
The hope of this initiative is to motivate, inspire and excite our children through competition to study, learn, and win with their minds. We hope this will also inspire our educational institutions to place a higher level of focus on achievement in the classroom and not just on the field.
JUDGE & JURY
Judge & Jury is a youth version of our favorite court TV shows. Members will have the opportunity to have their everyday disputes resolved in a fair, safe, and legal manner. They will perform mock trials and re-enact historic cases using basic legal knowledge and terminology learned within the program.
This forum will give youth the opportunity to avail themselves to the legal process. Our broadcasts will allow viewers to learn valuable information about their rights and the legal way to resolve common situations.
The hope of this initiative is to inspire (through knowledge and experience) kids to want to pursue careers in the legal field. Real attorneys will work with our members, helping them to develop and understand the law.
COMMUNITY MATTERS
Community Matters, is a talk show hosted by We Are Now. We will interview local businessmen to give them the opportunity to promote their brand and inform the community of the products and services that they offer. This initiative is another way that we serve the community, using our platform and audience to give local business that much needed boost that will help to stimulate the local economy.
